Are Nicotine gum or patches really safe to use ?

Post by papa_umau on Tue 21 Jul 2009, 12:04 pm

After a young boy overdosed on nicotine gum at the weekend I was wondering if this nicotine replacement therapy for people who have no willpower to stop smoking is the right way or even a safe way to go about it.

I had always considered that pure nicotine was one of THE most dangerous poisons known to man and yet here we see this poison being used as a crutch to help weak-willed people off the addiction to it.

Find out about this deadly poison HERE

I don't think they would have allowed them onto the market if they had been dangerous to use in the correct doseage.

I believe that thet fool that poisoned himself had taken whole packs of the gum.
