    Talk Talk Again.

Post by Hell's Granny on Thu 26 Jul 2018, 3:18 pm

My son answered a call from Talk Talk this morning (supposedly). Got him to press 1 on the keypad then was spouting about the router being faulty (We don't use their router), and when they said to go to the computer he hung up. I tracked the call back theough Who Called Me? and it said it came from America (which I doubt), as most originate either in the Indian Call centres or in the Middle East. I flagged the number as Dangerous. It is- 0019043961777.

    Great post HG.

And thanks for highlighting the dodgy number.

    Take heed Robsters.

    Good advice HG.

TalkTalk and other airtime providers spend a lot of their time getting income off the backs of sub-divisions that become part of the whole.

Then again many crooks use such well known services to make themselves sound respectable.

Yes this does happen quite a lot.

The main company should ensure that any other company that advertises off the back of the original should be safe to use.

I, in fact have no complaints about TalkTalk as I have been using them for my broadband provider for many years.

STILL, it is good to keep our wits about us when dealing with any of these big companies.
