Moving from Android to iOS? Here’s what happens

Similar to Kubler Ross’ five stages of grief, here are five stages you would go through.

Read the five stages from Gulf News Get That HERE

Very few people who are already captured by the Apple-phones will move to any of the Android phones, and vice versa, but if you were considering a move like this the advice to be found in this article might be invaluable.

    What a palaver.

Why don't they make the switching to another phone much easier than that ?

They do that so people think twice about moving to another phone.

It's all about trying to hang on to their customers.

I already knew about the hassle connected to moving to Apple phones.

I am quite happy with my Android phone and I will be happy with my next one too, I hope.

I am with you on that one Angie, as I have always had Android phones and my Samsung Galaxy J5 will do me until a newer one comes along that I can afford.

No Smart tech for me, as far as possible.

Dumb tech is all I need. I don't trust the Smart stuff as far as I can lob it out of the window!

I suppose many people, especially elderly ones, would agree with you there HG.
A lot of modern-day users are happy if their phone makes calls and texts and takes the odd photo.

Strangely though there are some, like me, that want the phones to have all the bells and whistles.

I'm an old Luddite, I like to keep things simple; can't be doing with a lot of overdesigned stuff with redundant features. I even keep my microphone and video ports covered when not in use.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to succumb to Widows 10 soon, as my laptop is on its last legs! Sad

And along with that will come even more problems, as WIN 10 is said to be the most buggy programme ever seen.

The trouble is that Microsoft seem to think that it is acceptable that they should stop supporting their browsers that are a few years old now.

    Very true Zath.

The updates, ( patches ), that they send out regularly take forever to download and install and that are a bloody nuisance if you ask me.
