Police raid pensioner’s home to seize ‘little Yorkshire terrier’

Post by papa_umau on Tue 22 Aug 2017, 4:47 pm

I was astounded to read this story today as it took SEVEN officers in FIVE police-cars to take away a tiny Yorkshire Terrier for chasing a delivery man.

Read the rest of it outrageous story HERE

If it takes seven police officers from five police cars to take away a little Yorkshire Terrier it seems to me that these police have little to do in their fight against crime.

If the Yorkshire Terrier had to be taken away it could surely have been done by ONE trained dog recovery person.

    What a load of nonsense.

All it would have taken was a call to the RSPCA whereby ONE experienced dog-handler could have taken the little mutt under control.

The cops make a total arse of this - as usual.

Yes, that was my response when I read that story.

It seems to me that when the police think they have to do something, they either make a much up of it like taking two days to respond to a report made by a number passers-by of a car crashing off the road where a woman died, or doing something like this where they went right over the top and wasted the time and the money sending so many police cars and officers to a trivial complaint.

Chief Constables have been in the news recently about them resigning and being sacked, but I think there should be more of them sacked as it seems they are, in the main, just not up to the job.

This sounds almost too ludicrous to be true.

Has anybody checked the veracity of this report ?

I too, was a bit concerned if this story was actually true or not, so I checked it, and it seems that it is all true.

It was a postman who reported the dog; which apparently is all bark and nothing else, but he said it was the size of a labrador, and attacked him. Exaggeration, much?

While we must remember that our posties get a lot of hassle from dogs loose in their gardens and from when they put stuff through the letter-box, This one particular story was ridiculous and the police response was even more ridiculous.
