Jeremy Corbyn to 'force early general election' .

Post by Angie baby on Sat 24 Jun 2017, 11:37 am

Jeremy Corbyn to 'force early general election' as Labour leader berates 'ludicrous' May.

BRITAIN could be heading to the ballot boxes yet again after Jeremy Corbyn said he wants to “force an early general election” as it is “ludicrous” for Theresa May to stay in power.

The Labour leader used his recent approval rating surge, which has placed him above Mrs May for the first time ever, to push for another general election, just over two weeks after the last vote.

Speaking at Unison’s annual conference in Brighton, Jeremy Corbyn, told the Daily Mirror: Mrs May called the election so not to have a "coalition of chaos", but that is exactly what we have; they don’t seem to have come to an agreement with the DUP two weeks after the election.

Get the full story from The Daily Express HERE.

I don't know how he is going to go about this as I doubt whether his raised support figures in the polls will be good enough to get it done.

Very few in and out of the Tory party would disagree that since her election Theresa may has made a right-royal cock-up of the job.

It will still be interesting to see what develops as the days and weeks go by.

Well, all I can say is the best of luck to him, as the results of the last "snap" election shows that Labour COULD win in any new election if the previous Labour supporters are given another chance.

    Strangely maybe, this includes me.

What we are more concerned about is: Will Corbyn be able to force another election ?

    I don't think so.

I think it is unlikely that there will be another general Election right now, people are somewhat Election Fatigued, but I am really concerned at the state Britain will be in by the end of this Parliament.

My French ancestry calls out for revolution, and it seems a remote possibility, with all the disasters and strange goings on both in and out of the Commons Chamber, and the braying of the Upper crust toffs such as Jacob Rees-Mogg-Pillock.

My British side cringes from the possibility, and I am glad there is no death penalty, although Madame La Guillotine was at least quick!

Yes the French and the Russians historically removed the charlatan governments of the past but I think that we are just too settled in to the way of life here to revolt.

It is nice to see the people out on the streets, as with the Poll-Tax riots that succeeded in removing Thatcher and eventually her government, but it takes a lot for the British to get so riled that they would do that again.

If Theresa May was not so arrogant she would have stepped down a while ago.
