The BA computer crash....What was it really ?

Post by papa_umau on Mon 29 May 2017, 11:32 am

British Airways is working to restore its computer systems after a power failure caused major disruption for thousands of passengers worldwide.

The airline is "closer to full operational capacity" after an IT "power cut" resulted in mass flight cancellations at Heathrow and Gatwick.

Thousands of passengers remain displaced, with large numbers sleeping overnight in terminals.

BA has not explained the cause of the power problem.

There are many questions being asked about this and it is very suspicious that BA will not really explain what went wrong and why it could not be fixed much quicker that it has been ?

Personally I feel that the outsourcing of the massive BW computer control to India might have had something to do with this crash, and I also wonder if it was not just a serious cyber-hack that Brought down the computers and not just a "power-failure" ?

What do you folks think ?

As I see it, a simple power-surge could surely not take out so many computers across the world.

I think they are trying a flim-flam here.

Cannot wait for the full report.

Get what the experts say about this from HERE

I think you are right about the "flim-flam" Zathrus as they are just making up excuses for this failure.

One thing is sure and that is that a class action suite has been started by the let-down passengers that not only didn't get a plane but that have also lost all of their luggage.

This is going to cost BA Millions of pounds in reparations.

    Serves them right I say.

It has all gone surprisingly quiet over the past few hours.

I hope that the authorities are still working hard to find out exactly what it was that happened.
