How to get Pampers nappies for less.

Post by papa_umau on Tue 21 Mar 2017, 12:01 pm

Our research reveals which shops and multibuy offers could save you more than £16 a month on nappies.

Pampers nappies are some of the most expensive, so avoiding ever paying full price will save you a lot of money.

To help you find the cheapest Pampers nappies, we’ve tracked the price of Pampers Baby Dry Size 3 Midi nappies over the whole of 2016 at Asda, Boots, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Superdrug, Tesco and Waitrose.

I notice that in that review neither Aldi nor Lidl got a mention.

Maybe you would save more if new mums were to buy their disposable nappies from Aldi or Lidl.

Birthrate has hit record high but demand for nappies has decreased
In past 12 months, value of nappy market has slumped 3%
Big brands are the biggest losers in the diaper war
Pampers has sold a staggering 76.3 million fewer nappies year on year
Savvy parents switching to online retailers or discount chains

Not a nappy expert, but it was easy to find that a lot of mums prefer the Aldi and Lidl nappies because of their superiority and because they are half the price of the big names.

Here is an article I found on this from The Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2529491/Bottom-falls-nappy-market-Parents-reject-big-names-favour-cheaper-non-branded-diapers.html

Thanks very much for the news items and for the link to the Daily Mail, where you found the information.

Mind you Zath' I do think that many of the mums of nappy-wearing babies will already be aware that Aldi and Lidl not only produce a better quality disposable nappy, but they charge half the price of the big supermarkets named above in my thread-starter.

Don't need them yet but I might need them in a few months time. I love you

I will certainly look at the Aldi and Lidl disposables long before I look at the other supermarkets.
