The best places to go when starting a family.

Post by papa_umau on Tue 24 Jan 2017, 12:16 pm

Where is the cheapest place to move if you're starting a family?

Towns with cheap homes and high birth rates mapped.

Which? research has revealed the most affordable areas to move to if you want to be near other families.

Having a baby is a key trigger for people moving house, and those living in small city properties often find that relocation is the only way they can afford a home with enough space to start a family.

However, deciding where to move to can be mind-boggling - so we've combined birth rate data with property prices to show you the areas where youll not only meet other new parents but also find a home to match your budget.

Thanks to Which? again THIS is where to go to get the full report.

I have sourced some great advice from Which? over the years and this is another great bit of research for us.

Well spotted Zathrus. I will try to find a Scottish, Irish and Welsh equivalent.

That is an interesting link Papa, but following what lots of other people did is not - to me - the best way to buy accommodation in any particular area.

My partner and I have been saving hard for many years in order to get a good deposit but as far as we are concerned, because we both work, we are going to try to find something reasonable-priced near to our workplaces.

I think that is the criteria that drives most young people to buy.
