The World Bank is worried about Trump

Post by papa_umau on Wed 11 Jan 2017, 10:27 am

Trump and Brexit put global economic growth at risk, World Bank says

A tentative pickup in the global economy this year is at risk from the political uncertainty unleashed by Brexit and the arrival of Donald Trump in the White House, the World Bank has said.

The Washington-based organisation said 2016 had been the weakest year for the global economy since the deep recession of 2008-09 and expressed concern that protectionist pressures would continue to increase unless the pace of activity picked up.

I am not one bit surprised about this as even although Brexit can have destabilising effect on the world money-market, Trump and his on/off relations with Putin and Russia means that the world has god reason to be worried.

The whole world should be worried about Trump.

I mean when have you ever seen any previous President Elect attacking his own security services on TWITTER ?

What an arsehole this man is. ( excuse the vernacular ).

I will excuse you the fruity language this time as that is the exact word I too would pick to describe Trump.

I am STILL predicting that he will not last anything like a full term in the Whitehouse before he is impeached.

He is already up to his eyeballs in sleaze and he has not even been sworn in yet.

I too think that he is going to have to be very careful who he does his speech-writing for him as he is just not up to speaking off the cuff.

Yes, because of his lack of intelligence he is a walking gaff-machine.

I will eat my hat if he is not eventually impeached as President. It has happened to better men than him.
