Thanks to you Angie for drawing that to our attention.

When I was on holiday recently at an all inclusive resort I really got to like the freshly made whole orange drink that was offered in large jugs. The "ordinary" orange juice was also offered in machines but very few people went for that offering.

I guess it is the bother that is given when people at home make fresh orange juice by squeezing it or from liquidising it in one of those fast liquidisers that makes the concentrated stuff in cartons the best deal purely from a convenience point of view.

We are driven by convenience these days and that is just the way of it.

    Ta for your response Papa.

I too, love freshly squeezed oranges and even with my Ninja juicer, that I got as a Christmas present, I still have to buy whole oranges and they are too expensive to buy for juicing purposes.

I have come across these problems too and I have found that at certain times of the year and in many market-places oranges and other citrus fruits can be bought in bulk quite cheaply.

The thing is that these cheap oranges etc' are not available all year round.
