Tesco accused of using fake farm names

Tesco accused of using fictional British-sounding farm names

Names like Suntrail farms, Redmere farms, Rosedene farms, and Nightingale farms are appearing as labels on their "fresh" but often imported fruits and vegetables.

Also the made-up names are Woodside, Willow and Boswell farms on labelling for pork, chicken and beef.

I have never trusted the people that I call the marketeers as they spend many hours trying to bamboozle their customers into thinking they are getting totally fresh food when much of this food is imported or packaged with Argon gas to keep it "fresher" for longer.

and... with Nitrogen and other gasses HERE

I think that very few people will know that such gasses are being used to keep fruit and vegetables from spoiling on long journeys to the supermarket, and even fewer know that these products are being sold as "fresh from the British farm" even although they have been sent from thousands of miles away.

I think that most people will see through these fake farm logos as they are obviously untrue.

Nevertheless they should be stopped from doing this as it is dishonest and it is meant to deceive.

Yes, the marketeers, as I call them, use many tricks to try to con their customers into doing what they want them to do.

    This is just another one.
