Nearly two weeks after the PM announced his resignation, the country has taken delivery of his 10Million pound plane!

    Thoughts, anyone?

The 10 million carrier-based stealth aircraft that Cameron plans to put on our new aircraft carriers is just one of many that will be required to fully man the carriers with fighting aircraft.

I surmised that around fifteen of these planes - bought from America - will be required to make each of the carriers into an effecting fighting force.

That's 30 aircraft at 10 million a pop plus all of the spares and engineers that will be required to come from America, to keep them armed and flying.

Maybe it is good for Cameron that he is on the way out as once gone he will be not responsible any more for this great cost.

Maybe not Paps, but Osborne is going nowhere, it would seem, and he is actually the one that will authorise the 10million a "pop" cost of these American warplanes.

Something tells me that when one of the new wimmin candidates for the Tory Leadership and Prime Minister is finally in place that Osborne will be packing his bags at number 11 too.

Of course, you know who is going to have to pay for these outrageously expensive warplanes ? Not Cameron or osborne, BUT US.

I like that description HG: "Mini-Maggie" Twisted Evil

Both of them are power-hungry harridans, but anything will be better than Cameron and Osborne.

This is one political race that is going to be fun to watch.

And then, of course, there is the contest for the Labour leadership as Angela Eagle appears as a "stalking horse" candidate.

Yes Angie, Corbyn's jacket is also on a shoogly hook.

Of course a "stalking horse", as you mentioned in Angela Eagle, is someone who runs against the standing leader so that a division can be seen as to who would support who in any real contest.

I do not think that Angela Eagle expects to draw more support to her than Corbyn has in the unions and the working class left wingers.

It will also be interesting to see just how this develops too.

Well, now we know which Maggie Clone we are getting, now Mrs. Leadsom has retired from the race. Unfortunately, we will be left with the Unelected PM scenario, as happened when Gordon Brown took over from Tony Blair.

With regard to the Labour race, the Vulture has shown her beak and talons. I think if she succeeds or Mr. Corbyn is not allowed onto the voting card, then Labour has completely lost any chance of Government.

Yes HG, it is all a bit of a mess just now.

I don't think they would dare not go give Corbyn a shot at a proper selection race.

I am sure it will all clear up a bit in the depths of time.

It is true that any leader selection by a coronation and outwith a real contest - as with the Theresa May - usually gives us someone who is an unknown quantity.

I hope she is not just another Thatcher as she did enough damage already.
