Brexit sees consumer confidence crash, YouGov poll shows

Brexit could lead to a marked slowdown in the economy over the coming months and recession can't be ruled out.

UK consumer confidence collapsed in the wake of the Brexit vote, according to a survey by YouGov and the Centre for Economic and Business Research.

The Consumer Confidence Index, which measures peoples economic sentiment, fell from 111.9 to 104.3 in the week after the referendum.

I found this news here: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/brexit-consumer-confidence-crash-cebr-yougov-survey-a7110741.html

    .....................................................

OK this could just be a case of nerves as far as the high-street shoppers are concerned, but if this drop in confidence stays we are going to see even more stores going out of business.

What do you good peeps think ?

As I said before, after every drop caused by speculator selling there is a rise because these speculators start to buy back at the lower rate.

None of this says that our economy after brexit is not very unstable.

We will not know the full cost of brexit until we actually get out and Brussels punishes us for doing so.
