    The government's debt mountain - 1.6 trillion.

Post by papa_umau on Wed 22 Jun 2016, 10:24 am

It was reported today that the government's debt mountain has increased to 1.6 trillion, for the first time.

Public sector borrowing jumped another 9.7bn in May, equivalent to 3620 a second, according to the Office for National Statistics.

Economists say that Osborne is almost certain to miss his target for balancing the books by 2020, regardless of the EU outcome.

Well folks, it seems that all of that pain foisted upon the people via his hard-line austerity cuts has not had the effect that he wants.

The people are STILL feeling that pain ! Mad

And that is counted in the trillions of pounds and not even in billions.

That is a number that is hard to imagine.

I guess it says that even after all of the austerity pain foisted on us it was all for nothing.

Osborne needs to be sacked ASAP.

After the brexit result we may see him falling on his sword just like Cameron did.
