    Thinking about Jo Cox.

Post by Angie baby on Sat 18 Jun 2016, 12:19 pm

Like many other people in Britain I was terribly shocked by the murder of the MP, Jo Cox, and of course many other members of parliament will now be wondering just how safe they are too.

The only bit of good news about this awful thing is that at least the man who did it was quickly captured.

Like many thousands of others in Britain, my heart goes out to her poor husband and children, as it will take many years before this memory will fade.

Good luck to you and your family. Sad

Thanks for giving Jo Cox a mention on ROB Angie, as I am sure that all peace-loving people would condemn what happened on that fateful day.

It has been suggested that her murderer was another far right and Nazi-loving nutcase but even if he is, that should not stop him from feeling the full force of British law coming down on his head.

Yes, she was taken too soon and leaves motherless children.

A tragic, tragic, event that has shocked Britain to it's core.

I know that his will be no comfort to the relatives but the Jo Cox appeal has quickly reached over a million pounds.

I hope that Jo's wishes will be carried out with that money.

It is quite amazing that the crowdfunding appeal started by the friends of Jo Cox generated four million pounds in just four days.

I have never heard of any such appeal making so much money in such a short time.

This could finish up one of the most effective of all of the ideas that have been made since that tragic day.

There are plenty of ways that this money can be spent that were in Jo's mind before she died.

I just hope that it is organised correctly so that this fund does what Jo would have wanted it to do.

    Thanks for that Angie.

I am sure that Jo would be pleased if she knew how wonderfully the country had reacted to her death.
