China and cars for the future.

Post by papa_umau on Fri 08 Apr 2016, 12:10 pm

As I get the Green Car Report daily I received a bit of news today that tells us that China are planning to produce two electric cars for sale in-country in it's desire to go fully electric in the near future.

HERE is the link to the full page on this bit of news.

It's a cool bit of kit and wouldn't it be nice if they started to sell these electric cars cheaply in Europe too.

Then again, we may see these cars as just another attack from the East, like their steel dumping practices.

    Comments anyone ?

Yes Papa, I do think there might be a risk of that happening as China likes to dominate any market it gets into.

Very true Angie, as the powerful manufacturing base in China is subsidised to the hilt by the state so that they can produce things for export that no other country can touch for price.

Maybe it is time that we, ( the world ), started to boycott Chinese goods until they stop this artificial subsidisation of prices and the flooding of world markets.

The trouble is that when it comes down to the nitty-gritty most of us would buy Chinese stuff if it is cheap enough and of good enough quality.

I have to admit that I personally like the look of the BYD electric car Twisted Evil

I don't trust Chinese involvement in anything.

The trouble is that money talks and Chinese money talks very loudly.

Even America is in debt to China to the rate of $1.7 Trillion.

Here is a quote from Wikipedia:

    1.27 trillion dollars

"Although the US government did not default on its debts, the incident was of great concern to the many countries who own US debt. China owns at least 1.27 trillion dollars worth of US treasury securities, or government bonds."

It is beginning to look as if, if they cannot beat us in a fight they are going to buy us and beat us that way.

Many folk don't realise that dealing with China means All the benefits go China's way. It is the most greedy country in the world, it's intention is to rule the whole world, either by trade or by main force.

In my view it is more dangerous than North Korea by a long chalk, it has in the last few years made great strides into Africa, consequently upping the decline of Rhino and Elephant to the point where the Black Rhino is now extinct in the wild.

The Chinese Peoples' Republic, In my mind, is even more dangerous to world peace than Russia, and I wouldn't trust Putin further than I could spit an elephant!

Sadly, I have to agree with you there HG, as China now has so much finance flowing around the world they now hold sway in many of the so-called decisions made in the "free" world.

It was published recently that China now owns more real-estate in Britain than even the Arabs do, and that is saying something.

What totally puzzles me is the fact that China is STILL a Communist country and Communism - followed correctly - does not allow for so much individual riches or such a large gulf between the very poor and the very rich in that country.

China can no longer hide the fact that it is a totally Capitalist country of the worst kind.
