BNP removed from official list of political parties

Under the Political Parties and Referendums Act 2000 all parties need to confirm their registration details with the Electoral Commission.

But despite having six months notice, the BNP missed the deadline.

Actually, I have often wondered how they manage to survive as just about everywhere they stood for election they invariable lost their deposit.

    Good riddance, say I.

Just like the National Front, the English Defence League and the other right-wing idiots, the BNP are now holding their national meetings in vacant phone-boxes.

They are irrelevant and they know it.

I hope I don't annoy Technician by saying this, but, some of the more extreme of these defunct rightist parties might have slid over to the UKIP party so as to be with what they might see as "friends".

I say this as I believe that very few of the people who support UKIP want to vote for anything as they are too engrossed with destroying things.
