    Gay marriage legalised in Ireland.

Post by papa_umau on Mon 25 May 2015, 12:42 pm

While this has already been done in Scotland it is more striking that Ireland has voted to do it too as over there the Catholic church has much more power over the people than anywhere else in Britain.

As I see it, it is great that such a very religious country can actually vote the way of anti-discrimination instead of their wishes being screwed down by their church.

It was also in the news today:

Ruth Davidson: "I want to marry my girlfriend in Ireland"

The Scottish Tory leader campaigned with her Irish partner, Jen Wilson, for a Yes vote in Friday's referendum on legalising gay marriage in Ireland, and now she will be able to tie the knot against the wishes of most of the Tories in Britain.

Obviously Tory Ruth Davidson does not agree with the general policy of the Tories.

Yes you are right there Zath'.

AND.... it is already known that in the private and boarding schools that many MPs, captains of industry, and senior law-officers originate from, homosexual activities are higher than in the national average.

That makes you think, does it not ?

They say the same thing about the Royal Navy. It's probably because so many males are crammed together for long periods in boarding schools and on ships that this might be the case.

It is now different as there are very few or even any single gender boarding schools schools left in Britain, and even the Royal Navy now allows female ratings and officers on-board their ships..

The balance of the sexes should help with the natural and normal development of sexual practices because of this.

OK, I know that this is suggesting that being homosexual is a learned behaviour and is not born into the person, but I have never been sure that people are actually born homosexual.

What do you good peeps say about this ?
