Not as good as dad ?

Post by papa_umau on Tue 24 Feb 2015, 11:37 am

Brooklyn Beckham set to be released by Arsenal after failing to earn scholarship deal

Brooklyn Beckham will not be retained by Arsenal's academy next term
David Beckham's son, 15, had been promoted to the Under 18 side recently, but the call-up came as most of the squad were at a tournament in Qatar.

Arsenal coaches still rate Brooklyn, who plays on the right of midfield
But other youngsters are at a more advanced stage of their development
Brothers Romeo and Cruz will remain at the Hale End Academy

All three of the brothers at a football academy !

I wonder if they wanted to follow in their dad's steps or were they pushed into football ?

Well folks, what do you think of this ?

I suppose it is not surprising that Beckham's boys might want to follow in their dad's footsteps.

However good they are they are going to have a very hard job to emulate their dad.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it was not Posh that pushed them in this direction anyway.

Ha ha Zath'. you might be right about that one. Twisted Evil

I suppose, if the boys carry their dad's genetics more than their mother's they may very well finish up as great footballers.

Only the future can tell this.

From a woman's point of view at least these boys will never need to look for work with their dad's/mum's looks.

Beckham is already a top model and I think that Romeo is a top model too, never mind a successful footballer.

Have a look at the Google page here: https://www.google.co.uk/search?biw=1024&bih=653&noj=1&site=webhp&source=hp&q=brooklyn+beckham+models+burberry&oq=Brokklyn+Beckham+the+model&gs_l=hp.1.2.0i22i30l4.694.8332.0.12064.26.26.0.0.0.0.232.2766.10j14j1.25.0.msedr...0...1c.1.62.hp..1.25.2737.Z5VrdeJBW2Q

When it comes down to it, does it really matter if they are trying to catch a ride on their father's coattails? I doesn't make any difference to my life. I'm really quite perturbed by this 'cult of celebrity' which appears so rife in today's life.

If they had really contributed something worth having to the country I would have a lot more sympathy.

There is no doubt that Beckham and Posh do have influence where they should not have any.
