People £974 worse off under the Con-Dems

Post by papa_umau on Fri 04 Apr 2014, 1:04 pm

Average family £974 worse off in 2015, says Ed Balls

Coalition 'is giving with one hand and taking back much more' through changes to the tax and benefits system, claims the shadow chancellor.

The average family will be almost £1,000 a year worse off as a result of Chancellor George Osborne's tax and benefit changes, Labour has claimed as it ramped up its attack on the Coalition’s "cost-of-living crisis".

He said "families with children would be hit particularly hard, losing an average of £2,073 a year if both parents are working and £3,720 a year if only one parent is in work".

Well, there you have it folks, and what is worse is that this is coming from a Tory-supporting newspaper; the Daily Telegraph.

If they are saying it, it MUST be true !

I am sorry, but I do not put much credence on what Ed Balls says, but I do certainly feel worse off with Osborne's draconian attacks on the low-paid and middle-income workers.

One should note that every time he comes away with anything bad it is to the detriment of the bottom end of society and when he ever does anything good it is to the benefit of his already rich pals.

I really cannot wait for the next general election when this bunch of idiots will be turfed out of power.

Balls is only a mouthpiece and these facts are there for everybody to see.
