MS Windows send "nagware" to XP-users.

In an act that has surprised many XP-users, they are now being inundated with splash screens as part of the automated Windows "update" software to get rid of XP and to buy the new Windows 8 operating system.

As Microsoft say that all support for Windows XP is to end on the seventh of April this year they are bullying their XP users into upgrading to W8 even if these customers are happy with XP and might even need to also upgrade their computers in order to be able to run W8.

This "AD-ware", which suddenly pops up on the screen of every XP-user, is said to be nothing less than marketing in it's most aggressive form.

Microsoft have never felt the need to do this before, so why are they doing it now ?

This is what the offending splash screen looks like:

I guess that it will be good to not still be stuck with XP then ?

I have Vista and it is crap. Maybe I will upgrade to Windows 8 so long as it is free.
