Britain's shift in tax policy, and when it started

Post by Parliament.... on Fri 03 Jan 2014, 2:57 pm

Okay allow me please to share some facts with you.

Thatcher cut our income taxes in the 80's, and our National Insurance contributions.

Britain's enterprise culture demands low income tax.

We pay lower income tax compared to Western industrialised Europe.

Factually and political Britain is fast losing the role of the State, and what the State provides in tax payers money to fund our essential services. In short, Britain's communities are fast becoming devolved from central government funding, hence increases in local council tax.

And this “shift” in tax policy, has been happening by stealth for over 30 years, since Thatcher, and it started with the poll tax.
