    Michael Gove cover-up.

Post by papa_umau on Sat 26 Oct 2013, 12:40 pm

Michael Gove accused of free school ‘fraud’ cover up.

Department for Education ‘sat for months’ on report alleging very large financial irregularities at flagship academy in Bradford.

It has been alleged that more than £80,000 was misused at a free school previously lauded by David Cameron, with false invoices submitted to Whitehall and taxpayers' money used to hold parties, buy furniture for staff and pay for first-class rail travel, according to a Department for Education report.

West Yorkshire Police referred the case to Action Fraud, but concluded that "it did not meet the criteria for further action", a Department for Education (DfE) spokesman said.

More on this from The Independent newspaper HERE

OK, I am a well known cynic, but I still think that this alleged fraud should have been properly examined by the police and a full report release to the public domain.

OR.... is this truly just another cover up by the Tories ?

That's a bit personal Angie, even if I do admit that he does come across as a bit slack-jawed in his media photos and videos. Shocked

That aside, I believe that fraud is fraud wherever it shows it's ugly head and not even the well-protected free-schools and city academies that the Tories like so much should get away with it if they get down and dirty with the rest of the criminals out there.

He reminds me of a chap I used to bully when I was at school.

Yes, I WAS that bully !

I think I have become a bit more civilised since leaving school, even if I came out with no qualifications at all.

He has a face like a slapped bum. Also he looks like a five year old whose favourite toys have been taken away. My grandson can mimic that face to a tee!
