Easy come, easy go, for the BBC it seems.

It has always looked as if the BBC are profligate with OUR licence-fee money as they certainly chuck it about willy-nilly with little thought.

Here they are again throwing around 99 million of our hard-paid money into a technology experiment that doesn't work.

New fat-cat boss Tony Hall that yesterday admitted that the money that had been spent on the new "DMI" hi-tech production system that has had to be scrapped was "wasteful" has been suspended on full pay during a BBC probe on this scandal.

Read more on this recent waste of licence-fee money from the Guardian site HERE

How many times have we heard that one ?

It certainly looks as like, if they get the money easy they spend it wastefully.

    Nothing new there.

When we consider just how much money is spent by government departments on surveys and consultancies, I cannot figure why or how they get it so wrong so often.

You are so right there Zathrus.

Governments have no clue about how to make real efficiency savings without sacking workers.

I am sure that there must be many ways that savings could be made by just being careful how they spend our money, but as it is ours and not theirs, they have no idea about how to save true waste.

Yes folks, it is always easy to spend other people's money I guess.
