Thatcher's death puts Cameron in the spotlight.

Post by papa_umau on Mon 15 Apr 2013, 10:42 am

(Reuters) - Margaret Thatcher's funeral this week may be the costliest political advert in history, if critics are to be believed - but her death is reminding Conservatives that their current prime minister pales against her ideological conviction and power.

Parliamentary Tories say that while David Cameron may get a small lift in the polls from public nostalgia for such a historic figure, figures on the right of his party pine openly for a leader who would have scorned his consensual quest for the centre ground.

This article from Reuters. ( Read on HERE. ) just proves that no matter how hard Cameron tries to draw the Tory party and government into the centre-ground it is easily recognised that it is not Cameron that is actually in charge of the party.

The true Tories are just as extremist over on the right wing as they have ever been.

Yeah, Cameron is a puppet of the right and anybody that thinks differently is living in cloud-cuckoo-land.

Did anybody see Osborne in the church at Maggie's funeral ?

I think that he was the only one that was crying in all of the congregation. Just shows that she was one of his heroes.

One very good reason that might be needed to get rid of him as the Tory Chancellor.

Crocodile tears Zath, just crocodile tears !

Our Maggie has now been consumed by the flames of the crematorium and I just hope that her soul is not destined for the journey to those other flames.
