Austerity is dead - long live austerity!

Post by Guest on Fri 21 Sep 2012, 2:34 pm

Figures released today confirm what has been happening all along - the coalition have been following the populist spend spend spend policies promoted by the previous Labour government only calling it 'austerity'

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/9557329/UK-borrowing-running-more-that-25pc-over-target.html

The trouble is the national debt continues to grow and the economy remains stagnant. How much longer before the country collapses and joins the PIIGS seeking bailouts from the IMF? And what would happen come an election where it is clear you could not put a cigarette paper between the policies of Ballocks and Osbourne. Maybe a Lab Con coalition? Who knows - anything is possible as these greaseballs continue to milk the system for knighthoods, expenses etc while the people who pay for it starve on the streets....

Wow Clappers, now you are starting to sound like me !

Maybe I am eventually starting to break down your dogmatic view of life and injecting a bit of sanity into your thought-processes.

YES..... It is very true that Osborne's so-called "austerity packages" are only hitting the ones that are unable to stop them or get around them - like himself and his other millionaire friends in the Tory government - and they are doing NOTHING WHATSOEVER towards bringing government borrowing under control or towards lifting Britain out of this double-dip recession.

Just about everybody that is anybody - including the governor of the Bank of England - have tried to get him to introduce some kind of a "plan B" but he stubbornly crawls along with his failed "austerity plans".

Yes Papa, the pain of "austerity" is only felt by the ones that are struggling anyway.

I just hope that they have good memories when they are asked to vote the next time round.

    ZZZZZzzzzzzwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeee......................

The sound of you missing the point. The point is THERE IS NO AUSTERITY. In Westminster they talk about 'the cutless cuts'. Life goes on - same politicians, different names. Clearly you have some way to go before you start to think for yourself instead of repeating the hackneyed phrases of the loony left!

If you think there IS NO "austerity" then you are probably one of those that are protected from this weapon by your riches. ( Either that or you are wearing very wide and high blinkers as you go about your daily life ).

You have to be right down here in the trenches to be able to feel this austerity biting and you can believe me that it is this type of austerity that is ensuring that the economics of this country continue to bounce along at the bottom.

No growth. No decent wages - apart from those few at the top who are protected. No consumerism because there is no money to spend. No new jobs of any quality being created because the small and large companies cannot get decent finance to do what they want to do. No creating or building being done because the creators and the builders cannot get any finance either and not even any growth in the high-street banks as there is no money left to invest or save in these entities.

NO.... "there is no austerity" out there".....NOT.

Open your eyes man and really see what these totally incompetent Tories and their misguided and traitorous Lib-Dem partners are doing to this country.
