Hester gives back his million-pound share bonus.

It appears that the guilt of taking such a bonus while hundreds of workers at the RBS continue to be laid off and the bank share lose value by each passing day has prompted Stephen Hester, the CEO of the publicly-owned Royal Bank of Scotland to eventually refuse to accept the reduced bonus that he was given of nearly a million pounds in value of RBS shares.

He said in public yesterday that as he did not want to be judged by the people of britain as a "pariah" he had been forced to take this action.

See THIS and then come back and tell us what you think.

It was only just and correct that he should do so.

I think it was the "people-pressure" that did for him and it was great to see.
