As this idea is getting ever closer to being possible I was wondering what the ROB-users might think of it ?

Even although he is a very sharp individual and he can project a good personality and a not inconsiderable amount of charisma, I have to ask if his past performance as the Prime Minister of Britain will suggest that he might be good at that job ?

I think that Hell's Grannie's response will be the one you should expect from just about everybody in and out of government; not to mention the people in power in Europe.

Blair's legacy is far too badly tainted by the Iraq war for him to ever get enough votes for such an action to be possible.

As far as his supporters in Britain are concerned, this is just a "pie-in-the-sky" wish and a lost and forelorn hope into the bargain.

I for one cannot see what qualities this man has for this particular job. OK, he is good at spin and he can talk a bit but he will need to have more going for him than that in that job.

I don't honestly ever see it happening.
