My friend and yours, Merlinz, suggested that I should activate the advanced profiles option for the forum and after some advice from him about how to do this....I DID !

Now, as I am as much a novice about the advanced bells and whistles of this fantastic forum software I guess we are all going to have to find out about what is in "Advanced Profiles".

I do know that you can get to the advanced profiles page three ways and the main way is just to log on and then click on your own profile. You will then see a new set of headings that will allow you to interact with other members off forum in many ways not previously abled.

If any of you want to find out more just go HERE and you will find a tutorial on the subject.


Any questions you might have on this new option can be asked on this thread and I and - I am sure - Merlinz will try to answer them here too.

Sure ill help its a easy system for those that want to use it and doesnt make a diffrence to those that dont.

There are different tab such as:

- Visitors messages, Select “send PM” and publicly viewable message will appear on your friends profile.

- The friends list, add friends to your profile let them add you.

- Statistics, view who’s been giving good reviews and whose not.

- Contact information

It offers additional options, and improved interactivity with other forum members.

You can view people profiles leave messages, view they stats and more by selecting “view profile” in the drop down box above people avatars next to they posts.

There you have it folks....now all you have to do is fly the option...or don't; you choose !
